Garage Conversion Ideas – Transforming a Garage into a Top Class ‘Man Cave”
Garage Conversion Ideas don’t come any more enviable than this one – Craig M converted an ordinary garage using his imagination and our garage floor paint into the ultimate boys room. Complete with pool table, Chesterfield sofa, dartboard. minibar and even a TV!
“Just a little email to tell you about my recent garage project. I have a large garage that needed a little make-over (In reality I wanted a man-cave, man-garage). I built a toilet and cupboard area, fitted a ceiling with LED lights and painted the floor with Regal Paint. Used a tray and floor roller to apply. Applied great, first coat of sealer was the hardest, but the top coats were a breeze. Left 24h between each coat. Went down easy and covered fantastic. I even have a spare 5L Tin. Coverage was about 60sqm. Then kitted it out with a pool table, dart board, chesterfield sofa, bar and TV.”

How the end result was created
The original condition of the garage was simply an underused store-room. The floor was unpainted concrete. Craig selected grey epoxy floor paint for the job, priming the floor first with two pack epoxy floor sealer to create a stable first coat for the two pack epoxy garage floor paint to bond to. Grey floor paint was a great choice here as it complimented the colour scheme particularly well as the project photos illustrate.
