The Project – Painting a farmhouse roof, transforming a rusty outbuilding and creating a new outbuilding from a shipping container. Painted in Red Oxide Paint and Brunswick Green agricultural oxide.
“I bought both the green & the red paints to do two outbuildings one of which you will see ive illustrated in its before & after state. The other is of my house the roof of which i intend to replace like for like & then repaint in the red. As you will see the building is something of a classic as far as a traditional west highland croft house goes & its my intention to keep it that way. Im very happy with the quality of the paints you have supplied me & the green colour is perfect…”

How the end result was created
Contrasting colours of agricultural oxide were chosen to produce a final effect which was creative and blended in beautifully into the surrounding landscape. We felt that this project represented a good colour choice, thorough preparation and extremely creative use of materials to produce a really innovative result!
