Pumice Aggregate

Pumice aggregate is an extremely lightweight natural material which is mixed into the paint prior to application.

It gives a rough-profiled finish and significantly increases slip resistance.

When using, pour the pumice into the paint and mix thoroughly. After mixing, use the paint immediately. Apply the paint with a roller to achieve a consistent finish.

A natural stone alternative to plastic microbeads.

Pumice Aggregate – Product description & recommended use

Where customers require a rougher profile finish to the floor, a pumice aggregate can be used. It is a fine natural stone which is added to the paint prior to roller application. This results in a lightly textured finish to the painted floor. We wouldn’t recommend its use in an environment where hygiene is a priority, e.g. food preparation areas. Because of the rougher finish, it can be more difficult to keep clinically clean.
